Pizarella, a new shop in Tanah Rata , sponsored Pizza for the students of Cherish on the 25th January 2018. The students enjoyed themselves.

Heritage Hotel regularly sponsors lunch for Cherish and on this occasion we celebrated Lee Yueh Shi’s birthday as well.

On a bright and sunny morning the students trooped over to a nearby playground for some bocce practice.( Bocce is a game resembling lawn bowling and originates in Italy). On hand to guide them were our teachers and 3 French volunteers namely Thibault,Quentin and Phillippe.

On the 28th May 2018, teachers Guna and Jayanty took the children out for some tree planting.

On this teacher’s day, Cherish students gave away bouquets of flowers to the teachers to show their appreciation. Getting ready..The bouquet of flowers.. As a means of generating income as well as being part of vocational skills training, painting of bags were done with the help of teachers. This will be an ongoing exercise. We are very pleased with their efforts. Bags are usually sold at exhibitions. We will eventually made them available online.      

Under our sport and recreational programme, outings are organised at least once or twice a month. Usually it is to places within Cameron Highlands . On the 26th April 2018, the teachers took the children to the local playground.

Hooi Bor has made tremendous progress  since he first joined Cherish many years ago. On the 24th April 2018, we celebrated his 21st birthday.
