Perhaps due to the cooler climate in Cameron Highlands, steamboat dinners remain popular amongst locals and visitors alike. Mayflower restaurant invited the students to such a sumptuous dinner on the 13th March 2018. The committee thank them for their generousity.

13th March 2018 -Visit by the Dental Dept, Ministry of Health
As part of their community and school health programme, the local dental department paid a visit on the 13th March 2018. Students were given a dental checkup and taught on how to maintain good dental health.

Lions Club Hillview Cameron Highlands gave donations to Cherish when they visited on the 9th February 2018. They are regular donors to Cherish and the committee extend sincere thanks to them on behalf of Cherish.
24th January 2018- Visit to the local pet shop
On the 24th January 2018, teachers Guna, Jayanthi and Zusi took the students to the local pet shop.
18th January 2018 -Cooking class with Datin Aseema
Cooking lessons form part of our daily living activity skills training. These lessons are closely supervised and adjusted to the student’s capability and age. Bocce is a ball sport resembling bowling and is developed in Italy. It was introduced in Cameron Highlands by the late Simon Rajendran when we trained our special children in it. 1st March 2018 Chinese New Year Celebration with Loh Yee Sang
It is a tradition at CHERISH to celebrate major local festivals and this year was no different. The special children get to experience the various cultures.
11th January 2018 Outing at Bharat Tea Plantations
Thanks to the generousity of Datin Aseema and family, CHERISH outings to Bharat Tea Estate is a regular feature. The children get to enjoy the fresh air and beautiful surroundings. Trips always conclude with a “makan” session.
