Chinese New Year Celebration at Maybank 11th February 2019
The students were invited to attend Maybank Chinese New Year Celebration and were entertained with a Lion Dance performance. Maybank staff has given Cherish much support over the years and this year was no different. Most of them already know the kids by names.
Pongal Celebration 24th January 2019
Pongal is a harvest festival celebrated by Tamils and usually takes place in January. Part of our training includes exposing our students to local cultures and celebrations.
Visit to Rajoo Strawberry Farm 10th January 2019
We conduct regular visits to local farms and the students enjoy these outings very much. For this trip to Uncle Rajoo’s Strawberry Farm in Kea Farm, transport was sponsored by Datin Aseema and meals by Uncle Rajoo himself.
Skills training 27th January 2019
Skills training are conducted daily except on the days outings are organised. They include training in fine and gross motor skills, daily living activity skills, self help skills, vocational and academic skills. The training would depend on each student’s needs and capabilities.
